Who we are

The CCYMN is a representative network of designated Canadian Catholic diocesan/eparchial youth ministry leaders who advocate for, promote and celebrate youth and youth ministry - in support of each other within the mission of the Catholic Church.

The Network was established to help diocesan/eparchial youth ministry leaders communicate more easily with each other for mutual support, collaboration and development in respective ministries. Our local and regional diversity enriches the tapestry that is youth ministry in Canada, and provides the possibility of identifying challenges, trends and opportunities that help us respond to the needs of youth creatively and faithfully.

The Canadian Catholic Youth Ministry Network (CCYMN) exists to support, connect, and form those who serve in diocesan youth ministry across Canada. Our shared mission is to strengthen youth ministry leadership nationally so that young people may encounter Christ and grow as active members of the Church. To sustain this important work, each diocese is asked to contribute $150 in annual membership dues.
Why Annual Dues Matter
The yearly dues directly support the ongoing formation, collaboration, and accompaniment of Diocesan Youth Ministry Directors through: Monthly Directors’ Check-ins
Regular virtual gatherings that provide encouragement, idea-sharing, prayer, and peer support.
Advent and Lenten Retreats
Intentional opportunities for spiritual renewal and personal formation during the liturgical seasons.
Directors’ Days
Dedicated formation and professional development experiences designed specifically for diocesan leaders.
National Collaboration and Resource Sharing
Ongoing communication, shared best practices, pastoral support, and access to collective wisdom from across the country. Strengthening Youth Ministry Across Canada
Your contribution helps ensure that diocesan leaders are not ministering in isolation. Instead, they remain connected to a national network committed to excellence, faithfulness, and innovation in youth ministry. By investing in CCYMN, dioceses are investing in:
