Mission

A representative network of designated Canadian diocesan/eparchial youth ministry leaders who advocate for, promote and celebrate youth and youth ministry - in support of each other within the mission of the Catholic Church.

Vision

The CCYMN will be recognized as a clear, unified voice for youth ministry and youth in Canada.

Values

Gathered and called in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we participate in the Church's mission to youth in keeping with these values:

  • Bilingualism (English and French).

  • The respect for and preservation of all languages, cultures, traditions, and Catholic rites.

  • The compliance with Catholic Social Teaching, particularly the principles of Subsidiarity, Solidarity and Collegiality.

  • The respect for and support of the local and regional associations/initiatives of youth ministry.
